So it turns out we're not having a Christmas tree this year.
But my brother arrived unexpectedly which makes it more fun and also I think I'm going out on New Year's Eve with a girlllllll.

Man much as I love Australian summer, it makes it kind of hard to get psyched for Christmas baking. I am just about to head to the shops to get ingredients for an afternoon of kitchening because I am poor and cannot afford presents for anyone.... but it's so niiiiice out and I'd much rather be sitting in the sun reading a book and drinking a beer.

I guess until a few months ago I didn't know much about the Bad Brains and then I found out about their homophobia and was troubled. Then I remembered that I listen to Burzum unrepentantly and without reservation so I figured I may as well be consistent and not care.
As of yesterday I am 18, and my life is pretty okay, if balanced somewhat precariously.

In this instance the roommate in question was actually a group of roommates, and we could actually replace the phrase "group of roommates" with the phrase "my family."
Fatty, thanks for the support. I may need it a lot these next few days. I will probably need it these next few days.
I actually got though to two of my friends last night, and instead of them not being there, which I expected(I blame the depression, and the self doubt. Long story), they both called me back right away. One even offered to come over. He never comes over. He lives really far away. So it was good to know that I can actually count on these guys. So you know, maybe I am not nearly as unloved and uncared for as I often feel.
