I work in a lab full of lasers. :-D Currently as I sit here, I've got running a 50 W (yes, watts not milliwatts) fiber laser at 1064 nm, several ~50 mW lasers at 852 nm, and two 500 mW tapered amplifiers amplifying the 852 nm lasers. If I were collecting data today, I'd also be running an argon laser at 7 W to pump a dye laser that generates ~300 mW at 508 nm.
edit -- and we've got a 150 W CO2 laser that rarely gets used, as well as a pulsed Nd:YAG laser that has poked holes in stainless steel in the past.

We've actually been half-seriously considering replacing our argon laser with a laser of that type (not necessarily from that company)... the dye we use in our dye laser has its peak absorption at 455 nm, so we could run the laser more efficiently with a pump near 455 nm rather than the argon laser's lines around 480 nm.
