My band's drummer got one of those portable vaporizers that look like walkie talkies and brought it to practice.
I was so intrigued by the little thing that I broke my ongoing break (around three months) to try it. Pretty pleasant, didn't get much of that weighed down feeling I had been getting with weed a lot before I stopped.
I'm gonna continue not smoking for a while though until I feel like it'll be 100% fun again.

it's been around for awhile, i used to have this bottle of it but not flavored or anything, it just tasted kind of alcoholic and it wasn't really strong

It was definitely not bull-puckey but there was an unexpected side effect. Since I took it so soon before bed and didn't drink any water in between, I woke up at 5 in the morning with a raging sore throat. It faded a bit when I had a couple drinks of water and coughed a few times, and I went back to sleep without a problem, but there's a little soreness still lingering. I've gotten this before with pot food ... I once ate a pot cookie before a plane trip and woke up when the plane landed with a sore throat way worse than this one, it lasted for a day or two. This one should be gone by lunchtime, I'm pretty sure. But the lesson remains ... don't ingest THC orally without accounting for the dehydration effect, it'll get ya.
It's a different kind of high, not really as upfront as a smoking high, it's more subtle. But I can easily imagine myself getting way too stoned this way while thinking that it wasn't doing much. That sudden moment of "oh SHIT I am high as BALLS I hope I don't have to do anything important anytime soon" can really sneak up on you if you dose this way, I hear.
