mechorg:
Christ - Pylonesque

That Black Moth Super Rainbow song in the forced listening thread made me want to listen to this.

mechorg:
Explosions in the Sky - Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean

muffy:
Oh god...Taking Back Sunday just came up on my playlist. I thought I'd purged my computer of all traces of them...

ANYWAY.
Feist - Mushaboom

Inlander:
Billy Bragg's cover of "She's Leaving Home".  Can't help but think of Alexei Sayle's sketch about this song: "Meeting a man from the motor trade?  More like the topless dancing in Rio trade!"

Inlander:
. . . And now I'm listening to "I Wish that I Was Beautiful For You" by Darren Hanlon, off his album "Little Chills".  This man's one of the best lyricists in the business - for instance: "We came to a stretch of road where a fire/Had burned the edges all along, it looked as though the highway wore eye-liner."
