Decemberists - The Sporting Life

I think I'm the only one that doesn't like this album. I was hoping for a revist to the days of Castaways and Cutouts but instead I get this. It's just far too "busy" for me. The lure of them (at least for me) was the lo-fi stripped sound they originally had. I even came to love Her Majesty. But this is too much. Far too much...

Hmm, very probably. I've been brought up on it. I like having something intelligent to listen to, that I can just turn the radio on and here. Ok, some of the programming drives me up the wall, but en large it's a very good station.
