I'd argue that their anime night was their first date. Who said a date had to have food? (Also they have eaten together, but I wouldn't consider THAT a date)

That could justifiably called "hanging out together" since the intent was only to watch anime at her house. This led to them wanting to go out with each other, but it wasn't an actual date yet.

Semantics, I say. A date can be a "getting to know you" encounter. And :roll: at Loki. (I've never actually eaten a date, I wonder how they taste)
