--- Quote from: Lubricus on 30 Jan 2014, 00:09 ---Memory is an important part of an individual's personality, so for AI cohesiveness, I'd say it is unlikely that an AnthoPC is allowed to erase memories without some kind of official review or licence.
--- End quote ---
If erasing the last ten minutes of memory destroys the integrity of someone's personality, so does adding ten minutes of memory.
--- End quote ---
Which brings us into the really deep philosophical domain: You die a bit every day, every minute. You are not the same person today that you were yesterday. Thousands of brain cells die every day. Obviously, this will be different for AIs, unless partial memory loss is essential for conciousness.
It is probably best not to think too much about this :?
Barmymoo:
I guess the problem with smileys is the amount of memory they take and the fact they slow down loading? I don't know though.
pwhodges:
The size of smileys is not an issue. I may trickle a couple into place, but I'm not sure about some of the ones offered.
I am too busy this week to think much about it, though (a whole lot of moving office and installing new equipment).

--- End quote ---
I figure a reference to the horsemeat scandals, since the news post below the comic is "100% recommended daily allowance of horse in every serving".
Carl-E:
"Horse" is also slang for heroin.
Your daily allowance - just enough to keep you addicted to our cereal!
