STATION: "How is Hannelore doing these days? Haven't been in touch; it's all I can do to keep this station running some days."
HANNERMOM: "Man, screw this. It's Friday and I just wanna kick back with my daughter, y'know? Maybe go clothes shopping."
EMILY: "Lemme just -- oh, look at the squirrel -- reshelve these books, and I'll be right with you."
VERONICA: "My son's an adult and he's mostly got his shit together. He doesn't need me flying cross country all the time."

Speaking of Claire… I have an idle speculation that she will react to the news of Marten's hookup either very well or very poorly. Surprised no one brought that up, especially since we're on the heels of the whole kissing discussion (which was probably a few days ago in QC time), in which she talked rather self-consciously.
Not trying to explicitly ship, but this would be an ideal litmus test, in light of Jeph's pacing and general style, for the future of that prospective ship. If she gets very jealous, we have a clue. If she is unmoved, we also have a clue. If he skips that particular interaction, we have a big clue.
(hoping I didn't cross a line with that, but it seems like the sort of thing to speculate on)
