I honestly think Marten's joking, just that he was expecting a much milder reaction. Hell, I would make similar kinds of jokes and expect smiles or snark, not belly laughter.

This. I mean, I had some frustrating times as a young man, but we have it WAY easier than the women. Don't forget that, guys.

I don't think Delilah laughing like this is necessarily mean and making fun of Marten. Possibly it's just that' she finds the situation awkward and thus reacts with laughter. I will admit that I would find being asked directly for makeouts - even if possibly in jest - terribly awkward if it was from a guy I'd just met that evening and talked to nicely, but probably was not interested in romantically. I mean, come on - when you have only just met somebody, the chances are pretty good that you're not romantically interested in them, just simply because you don't know them.
Also, Delilah might be a bit like Padma in reacting to things very spontaneously without thinking about whether this might be insensitive and hurt someone.
