There wasn't any spite involved... Admittedly, the scenario I intended to create in the final story favors the Resistance, since I felt kind of bad for them for how poorly the game went for them. But the story basically follows what would have happened had the game not ended at that point, with the Infiltrators having the majority. The only part where I tilt it in favor of the Resistance is the assumption that the next night kill was Dora rather than Elliot.
