Well, we always known he was a bit depressed about things, even if he jokes about it. He's been bitching about life in bars from the very start of the comic, and the first apartment we saw him in was painted "the favorite color of depressed people."

Maybe USB sticks have gotten a lot larger lately, but I would figure Marigold's hentai collection at least would be bigger than could fit on a USB stick.

I've seen 128 GB flash drives, wouldn't be surprised if there are bigger. Plus, this is a universe that has enough storage to fit a consciousness in something smaller than a toaster.
