But the P2 already knows about Angus's gig. That's not to say it being brought up the way it would be in this scenario, combined with Faye's I-was-sleeping-dammit grumpiness, might not be conducive to it being discussed in an atmosphere of sweet reason, but she's not in the dark about this.

You're right, but it seems more of a buried thing, not something discussed at length. Since all we see are selected dialog about what's going on in their lives, there may not have been much more said and both are kind of dreading what happens while not really talking about it. So there may be something festering in their minds that a chance outburst from Marten will break it open, or maybe Faye even forgot it was this soon, and it freaks her out some. Although Angus seems more than a little convinced he's got a very good chance at this... minor foreshadowing?

To add confusion, may I alert everyone to the random fact that "Kombi" is the German word for... no, not a van, but a station wagon ( because it... combines features of a sedan and a van, probably)
I'm hoping tomorrow's comic will be totally anticlimactic (and therefore hated) rather than Marten doing something really stupid. OWLS.
