Comparing 2048 to Flappy Bird? Blasphemy.

2048 did get less interesting for me once I figured out how to win at it (and since Method of Madness asked, I won't say how).

I think 2048 was a minor craze before Randall put it in xkcd, but now a whole lot more people know about it so it's an even bigger craze now. So it's like a chicken that laid some eggs that hatched into more chickens. Or the other way around. I never can tell.

yeah, 2048 was featured in hackernews long before the xkcd. And yes, the numberwang variant is great. I found it before the 16384 Hexagon variant.

And no, Randall doesn't earn anything from mentioning it. 2048 is open source. There are no ads. Nobody's earning money from it. Except maybe github, as it's hosted there.

Method of Madness:
The app I downloaded has ads. I should probably find a better app with no ads.

Edit: Found a better one...but oddly enough, it's not downloading.
