Thrillho:
'My dad could beat up your dad!'
'What, all three? DOUBT IT.'

GarandMarine:
If this does happen for Marten friend, counting in laws he will be approaching my level. I had four moms at one point.

Method of Madness:

I'm not sure I follow.

Eddie 88:

--- End quote ---

Weird how?

--- Quote from: Is it cold in here? on 23 Apr 2014, 21:06 ---Someone steady like Marten would make a wonderful big brother for Sam.
--- End quote ---

I thought Faye was fantastic with Sam.

--- Quote from: Pilchard123 on 24 Apr 2014, 00:11 ---Does today's P2 Martenmom have green hair?
--- End quote ---

Not on my monitor.

I love how everyone still calls her Martenmom, lol.

--- Quote from: NilsO on 24 Apr 2014, 00:43 ---There might be an awkward moment when Sam asks what VV does for a living. But Sam is a tough girl, I guess she can handle it. I guess she would not approve, though.
--- End quote ---

Why not? I'd think she'd think it's cool. She's a rather rough-and-tumble girl; that Veronica has probably whips and chains and stuff, and bosses men around for a living might be seen as cool. (Though I suspect Sam will dislike any woman her dad dates, I just don't think she'd have a specific problem with Veronica's career.)

(Also, is Vera a nickname for Veronica? 'cause it's a hassle typing out the full name.)

I've always seen the dad-counting as him being supportive.

EDIT: Fun fact -- it was Jeph's thirtieth birthday exactly 1000 strips ago :o

Vera is a separate name in its own right from a completely different source (it was my mother's name, as it happens).
