I am pretty sure Renee is supposed to be a counterpart of Faye and I also immediately saw her like this:

The last one being by far the most obvious, these are all situations that look more like Faye-behaviour than Dora-behaviour to me - I would never have made any connection between Dora and Renee. Just my opinion, though.
