Well, you can hide away quite well by having a common name. There are several people in "real life" named Veronica Vance. An even more common name (e.g., John Smith) is, for all practical purposes, ungoogleable.

EDIT: Why the heck would Jim have his date at his own workplace? Is it to give his employees something to talk about?
