I'm less bothered by the parasite than I am by the fact that someone killed a praying mantis and filmed it, for no apparent reason.

I've seen parasite infested ants too, they basically just become zombies and walk in a really weird way, so maybe the person knew the mantis had a parasite in it? At which point it's safe to assume the mantis is almost dead already.

This. Even as a non-veggie I abhor the pointless killing of animals.
