Calling all arty peoples!

(1/7) > >>

nekowafer:
I am in the process of decorating my new apartment. I'd love to have some art done by people I know - like you!

My theme is mostly dark purple and gray, modern, with creepy old medical stuff, and of course cats and ferrets.

I was thinking that I could buy a couple postcard-size pieces of art from people here, and put them into a collage type frame in my apartment.

Thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Stuff?

Blyss:
When you say creepy old medical stuff?  What kind?  What era?  Just looking for some specifics.

Welu:
I'd love to make something for you! Got the time now to be creative again. This links to some of my art stuff, maybe see if you like anything or get inspiration.

nekowafer:
Blyss: 1800s and earlier, for sure. Stuff like lobotomy tools, trepanning tools, and torture devices. The only item I have right now is a Phrenology bust, but I want more interesting and creepy stuff. Especially if it has to do with the brain and mental health (or lack thereof). But I will accept and appreciate anything you'd like to sell me.

Welu: I love the Wut Bunny and Cressida pictures especially, but I just love your style in general.

Tattooed and pierced people, faeries, cats, ferrets, and other pretty things would be good too! My favorite artists are H. R. Giger and Jhonen Vasquez, if that helps. And I think the pics should be 4" x 6" or larger. The paper it's on can be bigger, as I can cut down (or just get a bigger frame) just make sure to include your signature where I can see it. And put your info on the back so years from now, I can look at them and be reminded of the awesomeness of each of you :)

Whenever you're ready to buy supplies, just give me your paypal and I'll send whatever you need (within reason of course) and the postage needed from wherever you are.

Welu:
Thank you! I work digitally so don't worry much about money for me. I can just send you the large version and you can print it however you like, if you can. If not my brother works in a printing shop so I can get decent prints for cheap.
