miscellaneous musings

Barmymoo:
Everything from my fridge is now out on the table or the worktop, because the freezer box was so iced up that the door wouldn't shut (this was the case when I moved in, I should have dealt with it sooner). Seems like a good time to scrub the thing and get the smell out for good.

dr. nervioso:
I believe there is something after death, not something that preserves your consciousness like heaven, but I think something happens to you.

Maybe I'm just a romantic, maybe I just say this so my nightmarish anxiety about death and the apocalypse don't come leaking out from my childhood.

But in any case, I do know this: When you die, you will have affected the lives of all those you have ever loved and all that have loved you. I think if anything, you do live on, you live on in all the love you have ever shared with the world. This is the reason why I strive to express love freely and have sworn to fight against hate. It's why i have decided to leave my mark on the world through love and kindness.

(Oh dear, it would seem I'm getting sappy again. Forgive me, I'll go back and lurk in the shadows).

Redball:
I agree. Would it apply to May's cauliflower, though?

Barmymoo:
Let me tell you what happens to cauliflowers after their death: they rot, and turn into a putrid ooze. Then they get scraped into a bag and thrown into a dustbin outside.

Kugai:
As the bowl of Petunias once said, "Oh no, not again!"
