--- Quote from: 94ssd on 20 Jun 2014, 05:56 ---I've been watching Prime Minister's Questions (from the UK and Australia) and it's way more interesting than anything that happens in the U.S. Congress. Only once in a short while does a Congressman give an animated speech, and disputes between parties play out in long, boring speeches or in press conferences. But in Parliamentary systems there's a built in procedure for yelling right at each other. It's brilliant.

EDIT: Jamaica may be the winner though. You come outside and say that!

The U.S. Congress could always go back to the old way of settling disputes.

edit -- The one from 1858 is pretty funny. (I guess except for the postscript that most of the people involved in the fight died in the Civil War.)

I learned from that article that a few months ago The Ukrainian Parliament broke out into a schoolyard brawl because of the Crimea issue.

Scotland's is actually interesting because the independence referendum is an issue of such gravitas.

I know this has nothing to do with what you're talking about, but fuck the band Muse, they are stupid.
