Barmymoo:
Something weird and a bit alarming just happened! I was sitting on my bed wrapped in the blanket that I sleep under, and realised I could hear buzzing like a bluebottle or a wasp. It sounded like it was behind me, and a bit muffled, so I thought maybe it was behind the bed between the side of the bed and the wall. I got off the bed to look behind the headboard and realised I could still hear the buzzing behind me, even though I'd turned 180 degrees and moved. So I took the blanket off and shook it... and a wasp flew out. Eek! I managed to catch it in a glass and put it out of the window, and to be honest I couldn't see a sting so I wonder if it was actually not a wasp but something very similar in appearance. But still. A wasp in my blanket! And all my windows are shut! How did it get in?!

Fig:
That would freak me the hell out.  I absolutely cannot stand those flying, stinging jerks of the sky.  Maybe it snuck in through a vent or a cracked window somewhere.

Method of Madness:
Honestly, because of Luke's recent post when you mentioned "buzzing" I thought that was going to go in a whole other direction

Glad you got the wasp out of there before it stung you!

Masterpiece:
Setting Quincy Jones's Ironside (known for being the Kill Bill fight jingle) as my alarm clock sound was a great idea.
