Pretty sure it's the night of the same day. It seemed to be relatively early in the day when she kissed him. Marten told Tai about it, and we changed scenes to Faye in CoD, with Angus talking about the callback. They want to celebrate with dinner. Then Dale comes to CoD for an evening shift. He was still around in Friday's comic.

Pretty sure it's okay to think about it on the same day it happened.

Yes, Marten is still wearing the same clothes he had on when Emily kissed him. JJ is usually very punctilious about the characters wearing different clothes each day so you can keep the chronology clear.

Okay - whats an ovipositor ? My dict is more confusing than helping here. And Wikipedia is WORSE.

Or is Emily supposed to have layed eggs into Marten - like in "Alien" ?

So does Pintsize think there will a youngling Emily burst out of Martens chest ?

Put simply, an ovipositor is an organ that deposits eggs. It can take lots of different forms. And yeah, Pintsize is probably assuming an Alien-type scenario.

If this leads to an Aliens situation, who's Ripley?

Dora?
Penny?
Claire?
Hanners?

I'm assuming that this is the first movie, not Aliens, so we don't need to cast Vasquez or Hicks.
