I really enjoyed the movie, but two things bugged me

2. How was the Indominus Rex able to speak with the raptors when it was in captivity it's whole life?

(click to show/hide)Because plot device science. It's the same reason a state of the art technological theme-park doesn't have working phones/walkietalkies.
And of course Claire must have high heels. She's a strong, independent business woman completing her rightful journey into a sexy female love interest (/conquest). Those must obviously always have high heels. It's the way of things.

I thought for awhile that the dino was giving off something that messes with radios and cell signals, cause it always seemed to happen when it was around.
