In fact, forget my suggestion of Christopher Lloyd earlier. John Ellicott-Chatham should be voiced by Gene Wilder.

Wilder? Then the script definitely needs a line about the correct pronunciation of "Hannelore." Preferably with thunder sound effects.

This is correct.
I feel like Clinton and Claire should have identical vocal timbre - a reedy high tenor / contralto with lots of nasal resonance - but completely opposite delivery. Bee from Bee & Puppycat vs Mandark from Dexter's Laboratory, basically.
Wiley Wiggins (Dazed & Confused, Waking Life) is my perfect Marten.
Thrudd:
The fun thing is that with enough sound samples you could use software like VOCALOID to voice the scripts and that means you can have ANYBODY for our characters voices.
