Ahh. Do they really show enough in the panels for people who know ASL to be able to get the gist of what they're saying?

Also Joyce, Episcopalians are Protestants, but Justine (my Catholic girlfriend) has referred to them as "Catholicism light". (This is not meant as an insult)

They are either identical to or very similar to what we here in the UK call the 'High Church', which was basically the post-Henry VIII Catholic church  that no longer recognised the Pope's authority. There was a flirtation with puritanism during the brief reign of Edward VI that led to the disappearance of icons but, mostly, it remains a Catholic-esque sect with many of the same rituals and observances, just exclusively carried out in English.

It's worth noting that the Church of England - the origin of the worldwide Anglican communion - encompasses to this day a huge variety of viewpoints and rituals, from the Laudian "Anglo-Catholics" at the high-church end to pretty fundamentalist evangelical puritans at the low-church end.  It is amazing that some of these can co-exist, but this is the reason for the indecisiveness of the C of E in general.  It is one of the great British compromises!
