Big strike against it is Dwayne Johnson as the lead.

I happen to like Dwayne.

Granted, some of his roles are cringeworthy, but he does well with whatever he's handed.

Thing is, this is like "movie of the week" fodder.

"What happens when 'The Big One' strikes Los Angeles? <Insert B-list star> and <insert B-list starlet> star in Yet Another Earthquake Movie."
