ReindeerFlotilla:
Yup. Faye is a known problem drinker. She has been from her first appearance. How much of that was intended from the beginning, I would not try to guess. But it is there.

She has used alcohol as a crutch. The unknowns, at this point are: "can she 'walk' without it?" One of the things common to early stage addiction is the ability to get hammered without appearing drunk. "Is she, instead, hiding from her feelings behind the bottle?" Her previous behavior is consistent with that too.

Kugai:
I think the Angus situation has hit her harder than she's willing to admit..

At least she has a decent support network.  I wonder what Doctor Corrine's gonna say about this.

Method of Madness:
I was just thinking how Claire is better for Marten than Dora, because I can see Marten calming Faye down, and Claire walking in on them, but instead of suspecting anything, her reaction would probably be "oh no, is Faye alright?" In fact, I can see that exact scenario playing out just to show how solid their relationship is.

ReindeerFlotilla:
Unless Claire were in one of her "moods" to begin with. If she feels thwarted, she can be...self-centered.

OTOH, I just don't see that lasting, and Claire would be mortified, later. It's very difficult to project what kind of relationship insecurities Claire may have, as she's never had a relationship before. But based on her previous actions, she just doesn't run hot for long. Jumping to negative conclusions doesn't seem her style, though I may misremember.

That said, Dora had reason--good or not--to view Faye as a rival. (Comics 4 thought 564, to be exact.) I just don't see Claire having the same issues.

Rghfrgl:
Claire's clearly very against the idea of cheating, but I'm still hoping she'll recognize there's nothing there because Faye's the one who gave them a nudge and helped get their relationship started in the first place.
