Even when they have sex it's probably not going to be brought up. I mean, I'm sure they'll have a conversation, but the audience won't be privy to it.
Is it cold in here?:
Global Moderator Comment If Claire brings the subject up then we will have a different discussion. Until then, there are at least three great reasons to respect her privacy even though she doesn't exist. One is that it's good practice for dealing with trans* people who do exist. Another is that real trans* people are hurt by such discussions. It took me a while to understand this but after multiple people's feedback climaxing in a Zoexplanation the conclusion is firm. Finally we are on private property and our host has said in black and white that Claire's privates are off limits. Yes, despite our TMI relationship with the characters in general. See also the specific rules about trans* discussions in the notes for new members.
MooskiNet:
The concept seems pretty clear, but maybe to remove any ambiguity for those who wish to test boundaries, just say that until otherwise stated, it will never be discussed here, no matter what happens in the comic?
MrNumbers:
I would like to say, for the record, that my private area extends to my sock drawer and laptop.
Nobody look too deep into either.
This was an oblique reference to Dora and Marten's breakup catalyst. Have a nice day.
FunkyTuba:
Whenever Claire gets on her soapbox about Library Science, Jeph reframes her. I think she's just that gung-ho.
