Looks like Maleficient was popular enough to inspire Disney to remake Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast in live action.

Not sure how I feel about all this in a film era of remakes.

I am not against remakes. But this is making even me go 'seriously, more fucking remakes?'

I also really hate the loss of traditional animation. I know they don't make enough money and are time consuming, but honestly, as great as so many Pixar movies are, none of them has ever been quite as close to my heart or as REAL to me as hand-drawn animation has. I just prefer hand-drawn stuff.

Don't care. Hermione is going to be Belle. I am stupid excited about that.
