Hey, long time reader here! Been reading for about 6-7 years. I don't particularly like the direction the comic has gone in, so I hope you guys can handle different opinions. I still read it, though I'm not exactly sure why. Curiosity, I suppose. I like to discuss the plot lines, though, which is why I'm here. I'm not in any way going to be inflammatory or combative, just not going to have the same "squee"-laden, SJW charged view as everyone else. I hope that's okay, as I don't really know anyone who reads the comic and therefore can't discuss it anywhere else.

I look forward to some great conversations!

Which is not new. I did have a bad moment shortly after I joined. Not entirely sure I got that out of my system.

I don't understand. I didn't blatantly insult Jeph or the comic, just stated my personal albeit differing view on it. How is that not the right foot? Are people here really that easily irritated? In that case, I'm not sure this is the place for me. Which is unfortunate, I haven't posted on a forum in a long time, I really missed it.

I checked out the rules and didn't see anything about having a different opinion on there. As long as I'm not flaming or trolling, I should be fine. I'll lurk some of the comic discussion threads some more though, that way I can get a feel of how sensitive people are.
