Is it cold in here?:
Go for it!
I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.

Band's first show was last night. The girl who was supposed to come with me ghosted me, which didn't put me in the best headspace going into the show, but the minute I pulled up to the venue and loaded in, all that disappeared. A whole bunch of friends came to see us play, and the other band brought lots of folks too. We completely rocked the piss out of our set, and the whole rest of the night felt like a victory lap.
I'm very grateful to have today and tomorrow off. For a guy who doesn't move around much onstage, that sure took a lot out of me.

How was that?

Congrats!
The room was clean and had enough outlets and USB slots in usable places.

There wasn't any snow on Christmas Eve.
When I told my father that a friend in Australia had asked me to send him Christmas wishes, he deadpanned "Does she have snow?". My dad's deadpan is something that has to be seen to be believed. Of course he knows the seasons are reversed in the land where everything is umop apisdn.

So I've been messing around with making a Jeopardy-style lockout buzzer system. I'm currently coding a program for practicing ringing in the buzzer. The goal is to have a synthesized voice read the question to you, then you have to ring in within a certain amount of time. I'm also considering maybe adding in voice recognition for answering the clues, but that's probably not worth the trouble. I'm using clues that I downloaded from j-archive.com to populate its database. And I've been learning some things from them :psyduck: (this is a Baseball clue, $100):
