Blog Thread 5: A New Beginning
Thrillho:
I find things like that comforting even when they're attached to traumatic events. Which is weird because I hate everyone.

Was it a small prescription, a prescription for wee, or a prescription *of* wee?

I'm kinda surprised it took this long really. I go in at least two or three times a month picking up mine or my parents' prescriptions. Although then I remember how many people come into my shop every day and I would never able to pick them out of a line up if I had to.

In the last week, I've attented two BLM protests, and it's been some of the most meaningful shit I've ever done. There's a certain adrenaline rush that happens when you stand between black/brown people and a line of cops, hoping to protect the former against racist violence in a town that has never been famous for treating those people well (Oakland), and coming back to my current town and participating in peaceful protests there. I won't lie and say I wasn't a little scared, but it was fuckin worth it. I realize that this is what I'm here for. I have loved the people of Oakland for a long time, and I'll be back to help them again tomorrow. They always treated me so well. Now it's my turn.
