my baby girl turns 18 today. I'm so Happy and so Sad at the same time.
my son and his fiance eloped. I'm happy, but still want to see the Marriage license. I'm happily cynical?

When I did my degree back in 2014, there was an option to do an extra year but I would have had to study at another college a couple hours away so I didn't go for it. Now my local college is offering the additional year. So application, finance and and The World permitting, I'll be back in education in a few weeks.

My wife is driving back home after over five months away.

My wife used to have to go on business trips when she worked for the FDA every other month for 1-3 weeks (depending on the trip). It was always fun the first 2-3 nights. Getting the place to yourself. After that 2-3 days I would miss her immensely and it became hard to get to sleep without her in the bed. We would still video chat while she was on travel, but not having her there was depressing. I cannot immagine being separated for 5 months. I am glad to hear she's coming back IICIH!
