Yikes. How dare they use a name for those jellyfish that DOESN'T immediately invoke the safety warnings and facts that people know about for coping with the Portuguese Man'o'war?
Giving those things a name that doesn't connect in people's minds to the relevant safety information they already have is just irresponsible!

In Australia, the name bluebottle invokes all those safety warnings much more readily than Portuguese Man'o'war (well, at least as readily anyway)
How dare you guys use an unfamilar name? :-P
To be serious ... I think they may technically be different species.
