Thrudd:
Speaking of May   will she have saved up enough for at least a quad-copter she could data link to and get in some real flight time?

Oho, and for that little extra May'ism she could do a live link from one of the HD cameras to Dales Glasses  :-D to show off and freak out Dale.

I feel that way too but I try to suppress it.  Envy is an ignoble emotion.

Just saw this. Even if I were in a relationship, I -still- wouldn't want to see it. It makes me really uncomfortable, regardless of relationship status.

Welu:
I used to hate them but slowly once I got into a relationship I realised they don't bother me so much. Only if they're noisy, or right beside me, or blocking a pathway, essentially unless it's directly affecting me other than being in my line of sight, which I can fix, it doesn't concern me any more. Although it's mainly due to realising my Partner and I can be sickeningly cutesy sometimes and it feels really hypocritical to be like, "It's okay when we do it."

I'm liking the last two strips. Feels like a change of pace and it's nice to see more of Momo and the other character's from an outside-ish perspective.

I find this line of thinking odd. PDAs are everywhere on some level or another. Hand holding is a PDA. A kiss on the cheek, hugs of varying degrees. Humans interacting with other humans affectionately is natural human behavior. Judging people for displaying happy human emotions via normal societal interaction seems haughty. This is different, of course, if their behavior is directly affecting you (like heavy making out while bumping into you in the midst of a bus drive or airplane flight, disturbingly loud moaning during a movie at the theater, etc).

Timemaster:
Seeing May again and seeing how she copes in the real world would be fun. But bear in mind, that ony a few days have passed in the QC-Verse since she got her job in the store. But there is a fair chance that she is loathing it already.

Momo once said, that she sees herself as a kind of ambassador for the AIs in the human world. Donīt know the number of the strip, but she referred to it as a "noble calling". By letting Emily play with her pigtails she shows her patience. Much can be said about Emily. She may be called naive, obnoxious, straightforward, childish or socially incompetent. But nobody can call her malicious. She is a kind of innocent jester and I am sure that Momo sees her this way too. She has had more than one talk with Emily about AIs and AnthroPCs. Letting herself be used as a toy shows that Momo has understood that Emily is different.
So she plays along, the same way an aduld will let itself be used as a toy by a child.

Or as the English would put it:
She suffers fools gladly.
