BenRG:
I've got a feeling that this arc could be titled 'I, Momo'. It's going to be about what life is like for an AnthroPC Companion.
I'm hoping that we'll see her POV on the staff at the library, Marigold and Dale and possibly May. I'm also hoping we get some insight into her dreams and ambitions. We know that she finds human males attractive; is there a guy on whom she's crushing in her everyday life?

Several possibilities occur to me. The most obvious is that Momo's chassis has a mode that resembles sleep. Amongst its functions is to compress, defragment and archive in deep storage her memory. Also, automatic subroutines would debug her intelligence algorithm and her power cells will recharge. As with sleep in humans, she needs a regular sleep mode to remain optimally functional.
Depending upon how Momo's algorithm works, these sleep processes may cause her to dream.

Damn auto-correct; even if you reject it's suggestions, it sometimes assumes that it knows better and applies them anyway!

--- End quote ---
Nope, not just you. It's pretty clear Marigold has fallen into Jeph's "Don't Care As Much" pile, though not into the "Don't Care At All" pile. Since her Character Arc started, was developed, hit a peak, then largely-resolved itself, perhaps it was inevitable. I'm just hoping she doesn't divebomb into the abyss that Raven did.
hedgie:
Daligold may be in for a bit of a shock.

--- Quote from: jheartney on 03 May 2015, 20:33 ---I've had "active" roommates of the kind shown in the current strip, and I'd have to say I didn't much like it. Obviously their business is their business, but having it happen noisily in the same living space can be a bit much. Especially if you're unattached yourself.

When I was living in student halls, one of our flatmates would have loud sex with her boyfriend, and the sound carried around the flat via the plumbing. We used to gather in the corridor and chat.
St.Clair:
I keep thinking, not only of the XKCD strip posted earlier, but of an (unknown) standup comic I saw on TV a while back - the part of his routine which sticks in my mind is when he finally meets his neighbor's new boyfriend: "Oh, you must be [orgasmic cry] TO~~~~~MMM!"
