The countdown to 3,000...

I knew a couple who's dynamic switched between work and home (they worked at the same place).  One was boss at work, but the other was clearly in charge at home.  It doesn't have to be simple or obvious.

FWIW, I have long wondered if Marten may expand his blog about popular music into becoming a music journalist. It seems to be something that he's good at and genuinely likes.

Maybe Claire will find out that the students studying music at Smiff consider it to be their 'go to' for deconstruction of new releases and she realises that Marten has potentially a saleable commodity on his hands.

Is it cold in here?:
GarandMarine raised a superb point along those lines. Marten may get employee tuition benefits. He could pursue a graduate degree in music and begin teaching it. Professor Reed might only be adjunct faculty but he'd get more fulfillment than he does pushing carts around.

--- Quote from: mustang6172 on 07 Jul 2015, 19:22 ---What if Claire is hired as the Smith Librarian?  Would it stress her relationship with Marten if she became the one giving orders?  Would it be like one of those sitcom episodes where two characters see each other naked in an innocent mistake and suddenly the balance of power shifts?

--- End quote ---
Considering Claire's view of managing a library has been established as it being 'SERIOUS BUSINESS', I can definitely see some conflict arising if she takes on a totalitarian management strategy, should she ever get the opportunity. I could certainly see that happening.

Rghfrgl:
Maybe SHE should have the robot hand. Because she rules with a iron fist.
