Mad Max: Fury Road

<< < (2/17) > >>

Blyss:
I saw it on Tuesday, as I got free passes for a friend and me.  I went in with very low expectations, and I was blown away.  Easily the best of the series, and I really want to see it again.  The older movies were okay, and good I guess for what they were, but this was just a very good movie, period.

Blue Kitty:
It was pretty great, no real slow parts or anything to slow down the movie. Furiosa was, of course, a total badass throughout the whole movie.

SubaruStephen:
Just got back from seeing it.

I am totally buying the Bluray when it comes out, the whole movie was made from 100% pure refined awesomeness.

de_la_Nae:
So yeah, that was probably the best movie out this year.

LeeC:
Saw it today. Dr. Fiancee and I pregamed it by watching Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome a few days before hand (she hadn't seen them since she was really little and remembers nearly nothing).  It was a very good action movie, probably the best I've seen in a decade. Plot is thin but action is intense with only a few instances to breath in between.  I say go see it (avoid 3D).  Its just a mad max movie.  If you seen a mad max movie you kind of know what to expect as far as setting and Max, though its not required.  Its not a serial series  in that if you don't watch 1-3 you'll be lost.  Each movie is basically him passing through a portion of apocalyptia.  He's not out to save the world, just passing through and getting mixed up into the suck.
