--- Quote from: Method of Madness on 23 Jun 2015, 12:52 ---Rocketbutt is the Poochie of the QCverse.

(I know Jeph and everyone call it Buttrocket, but I prefer Rocketbutt and it's never been called either in-strip so there :parrot:)

Also, the latter scans better in a sonnet.

Or a country song.
Rocketbutt, you'll always be/Home sweet home to meeeeeee...

'Country song' is an inferior style to 'sonnet.'
You lose.

Unless you can recreatva sonnet that follows both the terms of the title while fitting requirements of a 'country song.'

(Mention trucks, jeans, or tractors.)

(Record that bullshit with an acoustic guitar.)

(Thank me for the #1 Country radio hit when the stupid awards come around)

Gladstone:
I already wrote one rocketbutt sonnet and had a few lines for a second one bubbling around in my head, but nothing came of it.  Yet.

Country music sonnet?  Sounds like a challenge!  Shakespearean, Petrarchan, Onegin, or Other?

'Other.'

Try Cash.

I personally dislike every country singer that came after.

Detachable Felix:
Cash, eh? (Butt) Rockets In The Sky would totally work  :emotrex: :emotrex:

(edited for clarity)

Gladstone:
Actually, forget I said Other.  Shakespearean and Petrarchan styles are the best-known, although I haven't tried the latter. Onegin stanzas are less traditional, but I've had fun with them.  Not sure which would work best for Cash, though...
