YIPES! Did Ardent's nanobots just turn a clockwork hopping bird toy into a sophisticated robot companion-pet? Is that even possible? Where the hell would it get the extra mass to increase in size and complexity like that? :-o

Just a note in advance: If Alice decides that she's going to keep the robo-phoenix and calls it 'Philomina', then I predict that this entire story is going to have a weird climax.

Well, Ardent and Gavia may take it with them when they go home. Additionally, there are lots of alternative names that Princess Celestia Alice could give to it!
