I've just realised something - Alice, Ardent and Gavia are still sitting on whatever they're sitting on throughout the current strip. That means that either the guy who comes to thank Ardent is very short (I'm talking true Dwarfism short) or they're sitting somewhere elevated. At a guess, are they on top of the new enclosure built around the Upgraded pump?

The other interesting thing is that there's solar panels in use as well - that's semiconductor technology right there.
