Much to my everlasting shame, i listened to slipknot when i was 13 years old.
I am no longer a child, i'm 20 years old, and living in a considerably more sophisticated world, where listening to commercial bands ISNT rebelling against society, and being different isnt an end in itself.
This is the way. As you become an adult, you see more subtle naunces in things, and stop taking everything at face value.

slipknot is fine by me if you don' take them too seriously.
i met them and they're pretty cool dudes, also joey jordison is really really good and like 5 feet tall... unrelated, but still funny.
i've had a premonition about this thread if the tone doesn't settle down and get civil.
