Don't get me wrong, I like ATR as well. Noise is good. But surely you'll admit that their sound could possibly fit Arkturus' description.

Oooo, I just saw the crappiest band ever last night. Texas Terri Bomb. they were so incredibly pathetic.
1, their bassist didn't know his guitar had more than 2 strings.
2, their bassist spit water on the crowd (yay! I want your v.d.!)
3, their lead singer was so manish it took me a bit to realize she was a she. Normally I don't take offense to ugly people, but when ugly people think they are the sexiest things on earth I do.
4, They sucked, but they think they rock. The singer actuaally had the nerve to try and make people jump up and down... not just tell people to jump but she actually got off stage and went into the crowd, nobody jumped still... except for the ones that did it to make her go away.
5, their bassist didn't wear a shirt and he gyrated his hips in a most obscene way.
6, when they weren't playing really crappy music they were dry humping on stage.
7, all their songs used 3 chord progressions
8, the singer didn't know how to do anything except scream
9, oh man, I'm gonna stop now... look, do me a favor. if you ever meet any of the people from this band just give the finger or a fist full of fingers. Well, except the guitar play, he was actually pretty good.

Mayhem were pretty stupid when they started off in '86. Pure Fucking Armageddon takes the biscuit and runs away with it.
Grindcore made after it was original is just stupid in general. I mean, I dig some early Carcass and Napalm Death and assuming that Repulsion's album is equally worthy it'd be very high on my wishlist. But not the copycats: http://www.mp3search.ru/album.html?id=10880
