I was going to say Busted. Then I was going to say McFly. Then, I realised they're not 'silly', just simply more puppetered cash ins. No, The Vengaboys were most definitely the stupidest band ever!

Though the vengaboys do deserve to die for the lyric 'WE're going to Ibiza, something something pizza.' It was so wrong. So very, very wrong. Worse than Black Lace and the song agadoo because they had the gall to release more 1 song. Sick, evil, fuckers.

Mindless Self Indulgence? I LIKE them.... I actually find the music relaxing. then again, I don't take it seriously, and I don't pay attention to the lyrics (seriously, the lyrics are nonsence on most of their songs)
I chalk it up to my addiction with video games and the music from old 8-bit systems...
as for plain ass stupid bands. the worst I ever heard was a couple guys from my high school, Mad Dog Monte and Juice. I will not comment further, other than to say the nicknames were about as creative as they got.
for commercial bands? I have to say Metallica has really been pretty bad lately. ever since Master of Puppets they've just been going downhill. (I know, someone's going to have my head for that comment)
