Or with something, I'd say. She's been using them a lot in the fighting ring since she started and I doubt she warmed up to Bubbles at first sight - hell, I doubt she's warmed up to Bubbles yet. She just might be comfortable doing welding stuff.

She could be more "at ease" working with things (mechanical work) than with people.

I am a wreck emotionally and physically if I have to take a people-type job (service work, cashier). I hate people, each and every one of you. Well... not QUITE but I do have social anxiety that I am working on...

Put me in a mechanical job (repair, welding, trade-work) and I'm totally at ease and "myself." I relate to mechanical things and processes better than I do people.

I'm beginning to wonder if she sees Bubbles as a replacement for Dora. I think she may be using her growing friendship with Bubbles to avoid the inevitable of having to deal with what happened between her and Dora and what occurred afterwards.

Not healthy Faye. Somewhere along the line you're going to have to face up to Dora.

And Dora is going to have to face up to Faye.

Bubbles is certainly not amused indeed.

Although given her VERY large frame I would've put Bubbles in charge of the Santa costume. Which she might have enjoyed more than the Rudolph costume.

Bubbles mentioned at the party that her armor is removable.

But for as long as we've seen her, she has never removed it.

Recalling the case of a vet friend of mine who admitted that he was injured and got shrapnel removed from his thigh only years after returning from the war he fought in, I'm wondering if she is hiding physical damage under there.

Survivor's guilt and an emotional need to be punished with pain is a hell of a thing.

Judging by her robo-blush, she seems embarrassed, matter of fact.

As to her being Santa, that would make Momo the reindeer, and I do not see her being capable of that.

Oh no, the costume, she could do, though she's better fitting as an elf. It's the reindeer's responsibilities she couldn't handle. She barely seems sturdily-built enough to haul a large suitcase, let alone a sleigh. Meanwhile, Bubbles is an anthropomorphized tank.
