BenRG:
I suddenly realized what is happening here: Marigold has always wanted to have her own YouTube empire but has lacked the confidence in her voice and diction to do so. All these questions she's asking Sam are, of course, questions that she's asked herself as she's drawn up her own plans, which are currently hidden from everyone out of fear that they might actually force her to go through with it!

Will she end up trying to live vicariously through Sam's simpler and more innocent ambitions? Or will Sam's greater self-confidence just make her feel worthless and weak (again)?

--- Quote from: Neko_Ali on 06 Jan 2016, 22:44 ---I am getting this crazy vision of Marigold and Veronica leaping in and taking over Sam's attempt to play video games on camera, trying to turn it into a huge internet geeky empire.

Or Veronica taking on poor, shy Marigold as a new personal project! Dale might not know what's rolling down the hill towards him until he sees the result of the makeover!

I hope that isn't the case. Hopefully she joins in and shares the limelight instead. It wouldn't be right to do it vicariously through a kid. I can't see anything but failure there.

I was under the impression that there were religious exemptions to those laws (for religious headgear requirements such as Muslim and Sikh requirements), so one could identify as Pastafarian to wear a colander in place of a helmet to protest the law...

Lubricus:
There is no better helmet than a colander!

Neko_Ali:
All praise His Noodly Appendages.
