To be fair who wouldn't prefer to hug Faye like that over Dora?

As someone who is also primarily made of corners and edges, I agree. Squishy boob hugs are the best.

Outer Evil, Middle Evil, Inner Evil. Clearly her teacher is a Zoroastrian.

Or mediaeval sword-fighting, which is where you take on Fox News...

So the skull is a protective helmet? It's a real thing, apparently.

Warning: joke is explained and thus killed within.

(click to show/hide)Not wanting to explain the joke and everything, which I really hate to do. But, just wanted to point out what I thought seemed obvious.

He (Jeph), I am sure, meant "mid-evil," precisely as written.

The character Sam meant medieval, presumably having only heard the word from her teacher but not seen it written down, thus the malapropism "mid-evil".

There, see what you made me do? Joke is killed now.

BenRG:
Given her Goth leanings, the Skullmaster mask works for Dora as a fashion statement! I also loved  the characterisation of Sam here. As I posted last week, she's kind of everyone's little sister. However, this confirms that at least a few of the cast also fit into the emotional role of elder sibling for her - the cool elder person that she wants to emulate.

I doubt that Sam picked it up but Dora made a profound point in panel 6: Most adults don't really completely understand adulthood themselves!

Actually, it's Sam who means 'medieval'. She just isn't pronouncing it properly and thus earns bonus 'cute little sister' points!
