I feel that Dora is about to have a complicated conversation explaining to Sam that Faye doesn't work in the coffee shop any more. After diplomatically dancing around how to appropriately explain why, all Sam will hear is that Dora got rid of Faye. This would further strain their tenuous bond.

To be fair who wouldn't prefer to hug Faye like that over Dora?

Yeah, like, Dora's all corners and edges, especially back in that style; one or both of us could get seriously injured…

There actually is a guy in Northampton who does that. Though I'm not sure if he accepts students Sam's age.
