I thought it was a nightie too. It's dark outside the bar in the Clinton comics and it feels like time has passed. Really the best tell would be the material type which is hard to portray in a drawing.

Tangential comment, but I really dig Claire's current "Disney Ariel" hairstyle in Tuesday's comic.
Endellion:
Wouldn't her last suggestion (matching tattoos) make them look even more like creepy twins?
And I kinda like Claire even more when she's got her hair down.

It really looks like a nightshirt to me -- my wife has several nightshirts, and Claire's garment could easily be one of them (except that shade of red would clash horribly with my wife's hair).
And yes, I like Claire's hair a lot in this strip.

Does Claire remind anyone else of Leslie Knope? Excitable, passionate about civics, and now both are apparently really into gift-giving.
