Oenone:

--- Quote from: BenRG on 22 Aug 2016, 23:06 ---In this case at least, Clinton can't get mad at Claire because he knows she's ultimately right. Sometimes you just have to make sure loose ends are tied off because, frankly, not doing so will torment you. Besides, I doubt that Brun will be that far away! His reaction in panel 2 proves that he desperately does want to talk to her again.

--- Quote from: brasca on 22 Aug 2016, 22:53 ---Can't blame Clinton for getting annoyed by all this.  He's gradually learned not to be creepy and now he's being encouraged to do something that will undoubtedly get Renee's red flags waving.
--- End quote ---

I'm pretty sure that this is the point. I'm starting to expect a devastating dry Brun exposition where she explains to Renee that she's actually doing all the things that she's accusing Clinton of doing.

--- End quote ---

I thought she had accused Clinton of trying to take advantage of Brun or wanting to hurt her? Because while suffocating Renee hasn't hurt Brun or tried to exploit her. She's just been bossy and given her fresh pastries.

oeoek:
Clinton detaches his hand and sets it off in hunting mode. He runs down the street behind it, screaming at his 'escaped' hand. Nothing creepy there. Uhm, sort off.

Method of Madness:

--- Quote from: Method of Madness on 22 Aug 2016, 21:13 ---I have it. I have a lot of it. Enough to not notice when some of it...breaks, I guess? That just seems like a weird word to use for hair.

--- End quote ---

If something important to you is now unintentionally in two pieces, what word would you use?

--- End quote ---
If one of the pieces had disappeared without me noticing, and the other piece was hidden among many other identical tiny things...how would I notice?

I take it that you've never had long hair.

FFS Claire, stop manipulating and controlling your brother.

--- End quote ---
You just had a character arc about this! Literally this!

--- End quote ---
At this point, it's sitcom disease.

To elaborate: it's only something people with long hair really worry about, because hair that's broken doesn't 'cut' off neatly, but splits apart at the ends and gives the whole thing a frizzy, unhealthy look. Once the end is split, the rest will split easier, which is why even people who want to grow their hair out should cut the ends every month or two. There's a whole science to preserving, strengthening and protecting hair, and it's necessary because long hair is relatively old; Claire's for example might be four years or older.  It's also under more stress, because you have to brush it and tie it together and blow dry it.
